In today's digital age, YouTube has become a treasure trove of knowledge and inspiration for aspiring photographers. I love learning, but I have a difficult time comprehending much of anything when I had to READ it. So instead, I’ve learned I can soak in TONS of information by WATCHING it!. I have immersed myself in the world of photography, I have discovered a handful of YouTube influencers whose tutorials and tips have significantly shaped my skills behind the lens. Additionally, using presets created by talented creators has added a unique and artistic touch to my photos. In this article, I'll be sharing my favorite YouTube influencers and presets that have played a crucial role in my growth as a photographer.
Favorite YouTube Influencers:

John Branch is a powerhouse in the photography in the wedding world. His engaging personality and informative tutorials cover a wide range of topics, from camera gear reviews to editing techniques. I have learned invaluable skills from his videos, such as creative composition ideas and post-processing tips that have elevated the quality of my photos. I have basically tried to replicate his wedding days by watching the behind the scenes he’s posted on Youtube! He is a go-to YouTuber to this day. I love his work. His Youtube videos along with his presets are what jump started my career.
2. Vanessa Joy- https://www.youtube.com/@VanessaJoy
Vanessa Joy channel is a go-to destination for just about everything. I started watching her videos before she became super famous. I love her personality and I learned so much by watching her videos in the early days of my photography journey.\. Her expertise in capturing emotions and creating stunning portraits has inspired me to experiment with different lighting techniques and posing styles. I have gained a deeper understanding of portrait photography through her insightful videos. (tip: I go to a 3-day conference called ShutterFest in Missouri and always love to make it to as many of her classes as possible!)

Rebekah Carpenter’s channel offers a fresh perspective on photography. Her moody style is inspiring. II have adopted her storytelling techniques and unique editing styles to give my photos a distinct look and feel.

Katelyn is a fun and upbeat mom and YouTuber who has been influential in growing my skills!

Becca cannon is a fun young influencer who provides some amazing BTS and gives great tips and tricks how to pose and guide clients in a session.offers some amazing BTS footage of her engagement shoots. I’ve been tremendously inspired by her work, watching a video often before heading out before a session to get inspired!

Julia Trotti is a portrait photographer based in Sydney, Australia. Her style is clean and elegant. The way she directs her clients is seamless and enjoyable to watch. She also makes reviews on the equipment she uses.

Simon is very smart. And is somehow able to communicate very hard subjects into words I can understand!

Zac is cool. And speaks to the younger generation and answers ALL sorts of questions, gives tutorials as well as reviews. I don’t think there is a question he hasn’t answered!
